Oh it was awesome to spend the night as a V.I.P. which is what Josh Leopold called us when he met all of the street team leaders and escorted us to around the back of the box office to our special area where we awaited Melissa's arrival.

I was very nervous all day and could not eat, the total butterflies in the stomach routine, it's rare that one gets the opportunity to meet their most favorite artist and for me her music has carried me through a lot of hard times in my life and her performances have brought me so much happiness. I was cool until she walked out and then I could not control my joy and excitement and I shed a few tears. I feel so emotional about her music and I let her know that by giving her a big hug. I called myself a wuss for crying but she said I made her night and when she asked me my name and I said "Julie", I told her not to hold it against me...she laughed. It was such a thrill for me.

My husband and I met two great girls...Marissa and Natalie who were celebrating their 6th year anniversary that night! They were very nice and we enjoyed their company. Hope the beer smell is gone girls!! haha! NOT very funny at the time.... 

But nothing was going to take away from the high we felt meeting Melissa...
