The drive down was pretty smooth. We ended up getting on the road about 45 min. later than anticipated, but it all worked out. However, parking
was a l'il tricky. We ended up a mile or more away. Decided not to take part in the shuttle bus since it would've taken us longer. However,
Rainbowgrrrrl (Julie) did because the distance was more than she can handle. (no problemo)
Our seats were in the second row on the far right --Fritz's side. Would've preferred it to be a bit center, but com'on now 2nd row!! And as
Tracy explained, we eventually made it to the center at the stage.
Tracy commented that Melissa didn't really get into it until the later part of the concert. Sad, but true. I couldn't have agreed with Tracy
more. Melissa can give her 200%, but without the proper audience participation, it just doesn't cut it. The audience was indeed an embarassment
due to the sitting down. Nevertheless, Tracy, Travelgrrrl, and I rocked with Melissa the entire concert.
Highlights of the evening:
Tracy walked over to the stage (during the first half of the evening) to show Melissa the "Must Be Crazy for ME, My 50th Show" sign she made
... Melissa gave the hugest smile.

I raised my REFUGEE sign from the Borgata in hopes she'll sing it (again) ... Melissa noticed it, acknowledged us, and shook her head no
(meaning, no sorry not this time) ... oh well, I tried (hehe)

During IRFL, I held up my "Thank You for Surviving" sign up and she genuinely responded, "No, Thank you!"

At POMH, I passed around 8 of 10 "Scream Here" signs to the fans around me ... Melissa's initial reaction was whoa and before we knew it, she
then places herself on an angle facing our side and screamed her head off ... That was like soooo awesome

As they were heading back to the stage for encore, Fritz tosses his drumstick towards Tracy and behold she catches it ... Fritz and Philip
were quite surprised, too by their expressions ... Tracy was able to lip contact with Fritz to thank him --how sweet was that moment!
We hung around as they were cleaning up and then one of the crew members handed to Tracy some picks. She then graciously handed them out to
Travelgrrrrlll and I ... Bless your heart my dear ticket partner for life
Sadly, this is our last show for this tour as we made a pact in the car. The joke was: 3rd nite at NYC was initially our last show, then the
Borgata, and truly yesterday puts a seal to our list. Furthermore, Tracy & I noticed every Wednesday was Melissa nite for us the last few weeks
... HHhhmmm, I think I'm just gonna put one of her DVDs on next Wednesday, so I can be there in spirit wherever she may be singing her heart
out.
To those who are attending any of her shows the rest of the tour, HAVE
A BLAST!

Take care ... until next time.
