THE NEW YORK EXPERIENCE

Whoo hoo! In the spirit of what my website is truly about, here are some fans recounting their special Melissa moments in NYC.

I SO loved reading these experiences from all the different perspectives, that I thought I should just put them all together.

So here they are (with very minor editing). I am sure you will enjoy reading them… This is long, but IMHO, well worth reading… HOW FUN!!!

How does one find the right words to describe a Melissa Etheridge concert? Awesome music and musicians, warm and happy feelings, camaraderie, a ton of energy and sincerity coming from the stage, lots of caring and ove? This is the Melissa Etheridge concert experience.
It was a crazy Tuesday night in NYC and Melissa fans from all over the world were gathered to help her celebrate the release of her new album, The Awakening. The event was invitation only and the place was packed with M.E.I.N. members and their friends and loved ones. Fans stood in line for hours chatting and sharing their common bond - Melissa, her music and her message. It was a real coming together of the Melissa community.

The crowd poured into the intimate venue and soon it was show time. Celebrities filed in including Al & Tipper Gore, Jan Warner (Rolling Stone), Kelli O'Donnell, Dweezil Zappa, and others. Melissa began by answering questions from the audience and acknowledging the many familiar faces of her devoted fans in the crowd. It was then time to begin the concert but this wouldn't be the usual concert - Melissa would be playing every song from The Awakening.

The night included some massive audience sing-alongs... from "I'm sending out a message to myself, sha-la-la-la-la-la-la-la-la-la," to the more thought provoking "What Happens Tomorrow." Fans held up "I Am Awake" bumper stickers and Melissa, overcome with emotion, had to walk away from the mic to compose herself. The encore included "I Need To Wake Up" and "Not Tonight" a song originally written for The Awakening but not included on the album. The concert was being filmed for a DVD so images of the audience as well as what was happening on stage were being projected on the various screens around the venue. As Melissa played "I Need To Wake Up," the camera focused briefly on Al Gore who was sitting with his hand over his heart. Next to him, Tipper sang along and rocked out.

When the concert was over and as we looked around the room, we felt pride and a shared sense of the feeling that all things are possible. Melissa and her message came across loud and clear. We have come to know many of Melissa's fans over the years as well as her management and crew. What a wonderful organization and community to be a part of! Thanks to Melissa and her crew and especially her amazing fans for making this such a special night and one many of us will never forget.

Melissa sounded great last night! The audience at the stage was obviously full of long time fans. It was an interactive show, with several jokes played on MLE during the night. :)

Brief review of the night:
Long line like usual. But ask Rhondda how long she and a few others waited! Once they started letting people in, it moved along rather quickly. Though I had to work and got there after 6pm, I was still able to be close to the stage for the show.

Melissa came out a little after 8pm, starting with a few minutes of Q&A from the audience. She played The Awakening songs, like at Nissan Live Sets. Some fans in the center threw confetti during Caaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaalifornia and it landed in her mouth. Lots of singing along, signs etc. Rhondda, Camille, Bitey, Mare, Margaret, Deb, Jewels and a few others pulled out prints of Linda Evans during
Threesome. This show will make an interesting Live DVD for sure! They were filming, but who knows if it will be usable. <gr>

Tammy, Rosie's wife Kelli and the Gores attended. Since Al & Tipper Gore "happened to be over at the UN anyway.." they attended the show. Melissa added "I Need to Wake Up" to the set as the first encore because Al Gore was there. Closing encore was "Not Tonight" link to it? which is fast becoming my fave. I hope she releases it on something.

I didn't get many pictures since I was trying to enjoy the show. But the couple of videos that came out ok are up on youtube.  Enjoy.

…there was no better way to usher in my 40th than with the Hard Rock concert in New York City.

I am amazed and impressed with the unshaking stamina "Rhondda's Posse" has. They sat outside the HRC from 8 am on Tuesday to earn they're well deserved spots front and center stage. Bitey scored Melissa's pick as a birthday present, also so incredibly deserved.

I found the concert to almost be a religious experience. I have heard the songs before, but they took on an ever deeper meaning with Melissa explaining them in person, and performing them a mere 5 feet from me.

Melissa and Phillip have this earth shattering chemistry which induced an altered state of consciousness in me. It was almost as if I was in a meditative trance. I looked up and over to the left from where I was standing a couple of times and saw Al Gore, as into the show as so many of us on the floor.

Melissa enjoyed having us all there, and commented when she came out that every fan she has ever known was standing on the floor in front of her. At the beginning of What Happens Tomorrow, on a cue from??? We all pulled out our bumper stickers that were passed out in line by ???? stating that "I'm Awake" and Melissa was visibly touched.

Well I don't have to go over the set list because she performed the album in its entirety from start to finish. She encored with An Inconvenient Truth in honour of it's inspiration being in the audience and played Not Tonight link to it? for us as her finale. The song was very appropriate and song with such gratitude and love for all of us in the audience. I would very much like to have this song, I hope it will soon be released.

All in all it was a fabulous time, short but sweet for me except for the 5 hours I spent in Newark airport. If I would have know that take off was going to be pushed back by more than 3 hours I would have done some extra shopping. Oh well there is always next time.

Regards to all those I met and travel safe back to your homes. Warm regards, Joyce

I am finally getting back down to earth and wanted to post the fantastic time we had at the Hard Rock Concert in NYC. Well I was praying that Dawn and I would win tickets through the fan club and lo and behold it came true. So we went and booked the flights and got ready for the "Awakening", having been on this journey with Melissa now since 1988, I was so excited but I knew this was going to be phenomenal. So we left from Heathrow, the plane was late but whatever I was with my wonderful wife Dawn and my fantastic best woman at my wedding Mags (Irish) for short. So what we were delayed in the airport no worries we could shoot the breeze and have a few drinks in the first class lounge, well 25 shots later (lol) we were chilled out and OK the flight was late but who cares we were off to see Melissa. So to cut a long story short, the listening party was wonderful…

…So the day of the concert arrived and we made sure we got into line plenty early, we even had our own red carpet of cardboard, Dawn, Deb, Jules, Stacey, Mags, Rhondda, and Camille we were the first 8, and we stood strong in line for 8 hours but we had such a great time. Now Mags and Stacey had VIP passes the lucky devils so they got into the venue and had the wonderful souvenir pass, Dawn and I were mere fan club winners, Mags your Irish charm is legendary but now you are a VIP, I bow down to you, I ask not how you became a VIP but agree you will always be a VIP to us all. Well the upshot was the 8 of us all ended up on the front row and it was WONDERFUL, I got to ask MLE a question before the concert started and the concert was wonderful what a fantastic night thank you MEIN. Now this was just the beginning of our great week. The next day we had the Tyra Banks show. This became one of the highlights of the week. Melissa was the focus of the show for a whole hour, and at one part of the show she came and sat with us in the audience and well what can I say it was a dream come true. Mags are you still blushing, she must have picked up on your Irish charm, she sat right behind you and and she was talking to you for the longest time. I know you got to tell her about the distribution problems in the UK and she was resting her hand on your shoulder and joking around with you, you lucky devil, at least she told me she liked my lipstick lol. You had such a long conversation with MLE wow what a highlight. All I can say is we had a blast all of us. NY ruled, Mel ruled and Bitey’s posse, Dawn, Angie, Mags, Debs, Jules, Rhondda and Camille ruled. Here is to next year. Angie

Mags from Ireland

Well I'm not surprised Angela beat me to posting - 20 hours sleep in 5 days then straight back to work tends to take a while to recover from! Although what an adrenaline rush !

Bitey's birthday was a blast, Ms Bitewound proved you can have your cake & eat it <g> & the concert has been well documented.

We had great craic
(Irish English - fun, enjoyment, abandonment, or lighthearted mischief; often in the context of drinking or music"), especially through 'Threesome' where we all held up Linda Evans photos, Melissa seemed to stay on our side of the stage quite a bit but we found out the next day that's because some fans were a bit "grabby" on the other side.

Working on the "Tyra-Tip" we had secured tickets a month earlier, knowing they filmed 2 shows a day friendly emails were exchanged landing us the right taping ( the afternoon show focused on the Purity Balls they hold in the US ! ) Once inside seats were assigned by lottery first & then arrival times. As we got up to the actual studio I said to one of the Producers "Party of 4 *Huge* Melissa Etheridge fans" – he recognised the accent, we spoke & he led us to the side of the stairs saying .. have *i* got seats for you !

Set to air next week ? 10Th - this is one of the most laid back interviews I've seen with Melissa. From Tyra's welcoming hug (she's 5ft 10 - Melissa 5ft 3 - you can guess where her face was buried! ) to the hilarious "Questions you've never been asked" one of which I'm sure will be cut !

For one section of the show they were throwing a surprise for a cancer sufferer who had been inspired by Melissa's Grammy performance, so they told us they were going to change the set & hide ME in the audience. Being led up the steps ME clocked Rhonnda & myself first & was like "Wow- hello girls, nice to have my fans here" & sat down directly behind me & R, beside Dawn & Angela. Immediately she asked about the show the night before, had we enjoyed it, how much she had, hoping it wasn't too much the Al Gore show ! then she asked did we "get" the CD ( I stress 'get' as in the concept ) she listened intently to our comments, & was interested in all the feedback. I told her about the UK difficulties which she agreed was a running problem but laughed when she heard how many copies we were bringing back. The others were going to the Grammy Event that night & were trying to get her to tell what she was playing but she wouldn't only to say they had a blast preparing for it, but would they would really enjoy it, she commiserated with a cute sad face that I was going to miss it, laughing as I said whilst my stalking was finished <g> she had the others for the rest of the week. Melissa commented we all looked well ( hair & make-up etc ) & we told her about the "Tyra dress code" ( we all got mails about no jeans, sneakers, logos ) "but that's the fan uniform" she replied, I pointed out the extremes of being a fan 24 hours earlier lying on the sidewalk of 42nd St on cardboard & cushions to dressed up to the 9's today .... that's "Rock n roll for you" ............... what a trip !

Shouts out to the "Posse" ( we ain't all together much, but when we are, we know how to *party* ) raising glasses of the Dawn-designed Awakening cocktail ( vodka, cointreau & Bailey's ) to you all

Mags

Angie “You’re Beautiful” from the UK

Yes it was a fantastic time, simply wonderful. Even though I have been to so many concerts and packages etc, I really do think this one was the best, to hear the new album in such a small venue for the first time from start to finish, and be on the front row with all my mates was glorious.

Then Mags has described how great Tyra was and it is a shame you missed the Grammys, but Bitey, Rhondda, and Deb and Jules joined us wasn't it great to hear MLE doing Bon Jovi, what a trip.

We miss you all but memories like this last a lifetime and are priceless.

Here is to next year can't wait.

Mags from Ireland

There was a quick fire Q & A section to the show I think called something like "Questions you won't want to answer" I'm sure Rhonnda will recall more succinctly but they were something like ...

Who do you find attractive ? ( asides from your wife )

What's the most X-rated item in your house ?

Who do you wish was Gay in Hollywood/ show business ?

& the bound to be cut from the airing - which I can hardly remember from laughing so much - was a choice between losing her musical abilities or having really big thumbs & keeping it - she looked straight over at us & said " well bigger thumbs wouldn't such be a bad thing" & made another risque remark that I'm not sure some parts of syndicated America are ready for !

Mags

Rhondda! :-)

well, both Mags and Angie posted last week about our awesome Tyra experience, but i thought i'd throw in my 2 cents as well. we had quite the run of MLE appearances throughout the week, but the Tyra show gets my vote for the most surreal. MLE's appearance on the Tyra Banks show is scheduled for this Wednesday, October 10th...y'all can see clips from the show at http://tyrashow.warnerbros.com/ - just click on the link for MLE's show, "Sensational rocker Melissa Etheridge tells all!". as soon as MEIN announced MLE's NY TV appearances, we applied for tickets to all of the NY talk shows but the Tyra Banks show was the only one to which we had confirmed tickets. because Camille had to fly home that morning, and Bitey, Jules and Deb had to work, Margaret, Angie, Dawn and i represented "the posse" at that taping. it was a little confusing because MEIN's announcement made it sound like MLE's segment would air on 09/26, but it turns out that Tyra's show is taped about 2 weeks in advance. on the day we went, Tyra did 2 tapings - MLE's session followed by one on "purity balls." all 4 of us met up that morning and shared a cab ride over to Chelsea Studios. entry into the taping was still first come, first served regardless of whether we were on the guest list, so we knew we had to be there before our 10:00 am call time. we showed up around 9:15 am and were about 25-30 people from the front of the line. there's a dress code for the taping, probably because the audience is featured heavily throughout the show. so no jeans or t-shirts for us! the irony of how we were dressed and where we spent our time a mere 24 hours earlier as compared to that morning was not lost on all of us. to go from sucking down vehicle exhaust for 11 hours lying on cardboard on the sidewalk of 43rd Street to standing on 26th Street in our dressy clothes made of unnatural fibers, makeup and heels was truly a sight to see. ;-) anyway, shortly before 10 am, the production staff moved us into the area just before the security area. we stood on a ramp leading down into the building. we still didn't have official confirmation that we were truly at MLE's taping. since Tyra tapes 2 shows on Wednesdays, we still didn't know if we were going to get stuck in the audience of "who's your baby's daddy?" or what have you. i figured that if her taping was indeed that day, then she'd do the morning one so she would have time to prepare for the Grammy Honors gala later that evening.

if it turned out not to be MLE's taping, at least we'd have a good laugh. while we were standing there, Dawn spotted the same red equipment cases and a guitar case at the base of the ramp that we had spotted being unloaded outside the Hard Rock the morning before. yay! we were at the correct taping.we quickly made it through security and were shepherded into a waiting area where we could sit or get a drink of water or use the bathroom facilities. as we walked in, MLE's Message to Myself video was playing on the waiting room TV, which i thought was a good sign.

it turned out that it was just coincidental as VH1 was on the TV as we entered the waiting room. soon, a staffer switched the TV from VH1 to musical performances from Tyra's show. as soon as everyone was in the waiting room, Tyra's audience producer guy told us who was going to be on the show - MLE! - and what to expect in the taping. MLE was going to be the only guest for the entire hour - wow, score! here i thought she'd just be the musical guest, and we'd get maybe 2 songs, but we were getting her for the whole show. initially, the production staff called out audience members' names randomly and then started calling out the numbers of the cards we were handed as we entered. the 4 of us had numbers 26-29. they herded us into a freight elevator for the ride up to Tyra's studios. we then had to get into single file and walk through the backstage area as they led us to the studio.when we reached the same audience producer guy, Mags piped up and said that we were 4 big MLE fans. he said that he would have to split us up into 2 groups of 2, but wait until we see the seats we got. Tyra's studio is quite small - i'd estimate that it fits maybe 200 people. there were 2 sections of what i'd call "pit seats" or seats that are practically on stage. the closest pit seats were just a couple of feet away from the interview seats. after the pit seats, there was an aisle for the cameras to move and then 2 orchestra sections side-by-side. there were monitors and screens all over the set which periodically flashed various shots of MLE. they were quite frenetic. hopefully, no one there was an epileptic. Mags and i were seated on the right hand side aisle in the 2nd row of the orchestra straight back from the interview area, while Angie and Dawn were in the 3rd row located about 3-4 seats closer to the center of the set. we noticed that there was a seat missing in the row in front of us. Tyra has a habit of going into the audience and boogying down, so i thought she might pop up in the empty space during the taping. because of her Tyra crush, i told Mags that i'd switch places with her if Tyra should stand in that spot so she could boogie with the supermodel. <g> once they seated the audience, the warm-up guy got us revved up for the taping by telling jokes and doing a brief competition with some audience members. his stint appeared to end prematurely because it was suddenly time for the taping. before i knew it, the producer was counting down and prompting us to applaud as we stood for Tyra's entrance. Tyra wasted no time and got right down to introducing MLE. MLE came out to a loud ovation and hugged Tyra. it was hilarious to see tiny MLE as the statuesque Tyra towered over her. Mags said that Tyra is 5'10" - i don't think that her 4" heels are counted in that height. MLE made some crack about never hugging a supermodel before. as i mentioned earlier, the interview seats were located about 20 feet away from our seats. because the cameras were situated in the aisle way in front of the orchestra section, i had to periodically shift left or right to see MLE around the cameras. Tyra did 2 initial interview segments with MLE: she talked about her album, having cancer, Tammy, the kids, the Oscars, etc. to make room for the commercials, the producer would count down to where the commercial would fall and then count back up when we went back to the taping. a roving cameraman used the empty space in the row in front of us to film the people sitting near us, Mags and me during the show. it was a little distracting, so i had to keep reminding myself not to pick my nose or to look horrified into the camera. you never know what might show up on film! LOL...after the first 2 interview segments, they took a longer break for makeup and hair touch-ups. they also pulled a curtain around the stage area to hide the band's equipment. i missed the announcement when they stated that they were going to do a surprise for someone so i had no idea what they were planning to do. when i noticed that MLE started to make her way towards our aisle, i nudged Mags and said, "she's heading over here!" i thought maybe she's going to do an intro from the audience or something. as MLE walked up our aisle, i caught her attention and said, "hey, all right!" and reached out to shake her hand. MLE spotted Mags and me, grinned in recognition, grabbed my hand and said, "my fans are here!" MLE sat in the seat directly behind Mags. i was stunned! remember, i still had no idea about the surprise they were planning, so i was dumbfounded as to why MLE was sitting in the audience a few inches away from us, but believe me, i wasn't complaining. immediately, MLE started grilling us and grabbed my hand again [all MLE quotes are paraphrased], "Did you enjoy yourselves at the show last night?", "Do you like the album?", etc. MLE also teased us for dressing up. "Look at you guys all dressed up! The clothes, the hair...!", she cracked. periodically, MLE would smack me on my right shoulder with the back of her hand in jest. i had pointed out Angie and Dawn who were sitting in MLE's row a few seats down, and MLE noticed Angie's lipstick and made a motion with her finger around her lips. i smirked and said, "I didn't think you'd recognize us." Mags mentioned the Tyra dress code and joked about how we were practically lying in an alley for hours the day before waiting in the line for the HR show. Mags mentioned that Angie and Dawn were wearing the clothes they wore when they got married, and MLE leaned over to take a look at them. i asked MLE if she enjoyed herself at the show the night before, and she said she did, "but I didn't mean to make it seem like the Al Gore show." we replied that we didn't mind at all - she is preaching to the choir with our gang. Mags told MLE about the Awakening's UK distribution problems. MLE leaned forward in her chair and said, "I've been having problems with the UK for 20 years." i mentioned something like they don't even know who you are there. i still remember how the Dominion Theatre in London didn't even have MLE's name on their marquee before her 2002 L&A show. Mags assured MLE that UK distribution problems notwithstanding, she was bringing home about a dozen copies of the album to Belfast. MLE rubbed/molested Mags' shoulder exclaiming, "Great!" Mags mentioned that her stalking was ending after the show, but that MLE would have the rest of us for the remainder of the week. MLE laughed! i tapped MLE on the knee, and she leaned forward on her seat towards me. i asked, "What are you performing tonight? At the Grammy's thing? We're going tonight, too." at first, MLE looked at me quizzically and then it registered..."You're going *tonight*?!" i responded, "Yeah, I know, we're hardcore. We're trying to do the whole week of appearances." "Aww!", MLE said. "So, are you doing Bon Jovi? I'm having visions of you doing something from West Side Story, though," i persisted. MLE smiled mischievously and said, "You're not going to *believe* what they're having me do tonight. It's cracking me up! You're going to like it." of course, i was intrigued. MLE wouldn't divulge anything further to us, so all i could think of was that she was going to do something from West Side Story. what a hoot, i thought! of course, we found out at the show that she was doing Bon Jovi, which seemed right up her alley so i'm not sure why she thought it was funny, but hey, whatever floats your boat, babe. <g>one of the 2 women sitting in front of Mags and me piped up to mention that she had been in the audience for Martha Stewart when MLE appeared 2 years ago, and MLE had given her pick to her friend.

"See, I give out picks. Except last night...I had to give it to Bitey because it was her birthday," MLE said. at one point, one of the cameramen asked MLE if she could see the guest chair where she was sitting and MLE said she couldn't. they had positioned one of the cameras in such a place that it blocked the guest's view of MLE's seat. it was just so surreal. here was MLE sitting inches away from us, shooting the breeze with a couple of friends, and neither Leopold or Girmant were in sight (nothing against either of them). when does that *EVER* happen?! i was trying to keep it light and not ask any heavy duty questions. before we knew it, though, we had to turn around and sit forward and not chat anymore with our newest BFF - the audience producer had already come by and chastised us - and get ready for the next segment. they brought out a woman (Jennifer Reeves) who had had cancer and went through something like 16 horrifying sessions of chemotherapy. [Jennifer] mentioned how she had seen MLE perform bald on the Grammy's 2 years ago and how inspired she was by her. Tyra took some questions from the audience and then asked, "does anyone else have any more questions?" then, MLE stood up from her seat behind us and surprised the woman. [Jennifer] screamed, "i knew it!" and absolutely freaked out. MLE left her seat and joined her on the stage eventually sitting on the arm of CL's chair. they commiserated about having cancer and the horrors of chemo. MLE held her hand as she offered [Jennifer] comfort. I think the audience Q&A session occurred next. these were people that had been picked ahead of time. there were a couple of comments about how inspiring MLE was not only as a cancer survivor but as a gay female musician. one woman was very nervous as she tried to articulate how inspiring MLE was…so inspiring, in fact, that she decided to come out to her family at the show. now i don't believe her family was there, so either she's already told them ahead of time or it will be one interesting viewing session when the show is aired next week. the woman started crying, and MLE motioned her to come down to the stage. MLE hugged her and gave her words of encouragement as they went to commercial. Tyra hugged her, too. i was totally sucked in and thought it was touching. i believe the next segment was the one entitled, "Never Been Asked..." in which Tyra asks her guest unusual questions. * Which opposite sex celebrity would you like to make out with? Answer: Johnny Depp, because he's in touch with his female side. * When was the last time you got into a fist fight? Answer: Never got into a fist fight. * When was the last time you said, "Do you know who I am"? Answer: She's never said this. * What's the most x-rated item in your house? Answer: Her wife is x-rated. LOL…* Who do you wish were gay in show business? Answer: George Clooney. MLE had to think long and hard about this one...almost like she was afraid of outing someone accidentally.* And the oddest question: if she had to choose between having 3 foot long thumbs that she couldn't surgically alter or remove and never listening, playing music again, what would she choose? ROFLMAO...i know i had problems keeping a straight face for this one...i'm sure a giggle/snort escaped before i could contain myself. Answer: after lots of smirking, MLE responded that "Big thumbs wouldn't be so bad." ROFLMAO...finally, it was time for MLE and the band to perform. because we could see the shooting script hanging from the camera located in the aisle way in front of us, Mags and i knew MLE was going to perform Message to Myself and I'm the Only One. Tyra went into the audience with the [Jennifer] who got to help Tyra introduce MLE. i couldn't see Tyra from where we were sitting but i heard that she was dancing and singing along. of course, we stood up and danced and sang along, too. while that's not unusual for us, rocking out in our dressy clothes definitely was. me in my Hushpuppy pumps! good God! my kingdom (of heaven) for a pair of jeans and a t-shirt! well, anyway, i don't know if it was the environment, but i think it contributed to our excessive spastic dancing. maybe it was the epileptic seizure inducing monitors located all over the studio. i dunno...try not to laugh. LOL...MLE did mouth "see you tonight" to us after her performance. after I'm the Only One, Tyra ran down to MLE, hugged her and asked her to autograph her album. Tyra then said that everyone could enter to win the autographed CD - just keep checking her website. and that was it. once the show was over, people left the stage, Tyra quickly exited stage left near our aisle with Mags in hot pursuit. i decided to follow her to the backstage area and we ended up getting very, very, very lost. we even ran into Girmant who was probably wondering if our stalking had progressed to a whole new level. no, we weren't trying to track down MLE, Steven, we were just trying to exit the building! Mags was able to charm a studio tech guy for a copy of the shooting script - that's how we found out about the afternoon "purity balls" taping. we were so lost that we got separated from Angie and Dawn, who we eventually ran into outside on the street. we hopped into a cab back to our hotels babbling excitedly about our experiences.really, the whole thing was like a dream. Mags and Angie, if i left anything out, pipe up! as i mentioned earlier, y'all can see clips from MLE's show at http://Tyrashow.warnerbros.com/ - check out the portion when MLE stands up in the audience for the surprise for [Jennifer] near the end of the clip...Mags' eyes/hair/part of her head show up as do my hair/glasses and a brief glimpse of Dawn. much more of us will be visible on Wednesday. :-)

Angie “You’re Beautiful” from the UK

My gosh Rhondda wonderful review and wonderful memory recall. What a great day we had and thank God it was not the purity balls.

Only thing you missed is that before MLE came and sat in the audience, she had pointed and waved at Dawn and I and laughed incredulous that we had had got tickets to Tyra, a small point but important to me and Dawn ;-} I think you missed that with camera in front of you.

I am starting to get nervous now, knowing it is airing in the States on Wednesday and dreading seeing me on TV dancing like a complete prat
(UK slang - A stupid person, or ass).

Magical review Rhondda, thank God we missed the purity balls, quite the most funniest part of the day was Mags going the wrong way and following Tyra to her dressing room, you got to give her top marks for trying. She also got the shooting script for me to keep thank you Mags XX

Seriously though all who watch this I know you are going to enjoy a whole hour of Melissa at quite her most relaxed loved it. Some of the questions are quite strange and amusing but MLE is as ever the consummate entertainer.

Angie
