I got this short story on e-mail and thought it was too neat not to share.  This lady's friend had been at a resort in June '04, and had seen Melissa there:

"She also related to me a very interesting close encounter of the MLE kind.  Her great uncle was wearing a t-shirt that said something like, "my 6th child has just given me my 13th grandchild" in the restaurant at that same resort and Melissa approached him and had a conversation with this old man in a wheelchair whose niece had to tell him who that woman was.  His reply was that she was just a person, like anybody else."

That's our Melissa... just like anybody else... :-)
