This is very cool.  SS at the show... and Kel on the phone... cool to get the two perspectives! :-)  I really liked the "Call Me From The Tour Tour"!  Way cool!

Lowell 7/28/06

OMG I was leaning on the stage from the middle of the first song (Giant).........more later. Yes I called Kel with while the phone was inches away from Fritz. I don't know what she heard. We will leave that up to her.

Lowell rocked!

I just read the Lowell reviews and relived it all at the same. How freaky is that I have chills. Kel was right on the money when she pictured Melissa dancing with the guitar. It was the sexiest damn thing I ever saw Melissa do and it made me weak in the knees.

We were all up resting body parts on the stage. I can't believe we were all up there but we did. It was wild to be with Zonies and Boardies...Not random people. Wow!

So SS & D are so great ... SS has been giving me warm up calls, and tonight was no exception ... she called and said "they were in the 6th row ... the place was mellow ... and Rasta just walked by" ... the light went dim and the crowd started to cheer and scream ... at that point we hung up for her to call me back in a bit ... I had just barely got in the door and we chatted for a bit.

I hear SS say: "SILENT LEGACY" .... "they wonder where did they go wrong .. how could you be so selfish ...why can't you get along and as you pray in your darkness for wings to set you free you are bound to your silent legacy" ... I heard someone say "sorry" ..."you've seen it in the movies and you've heard it on the street ..c rrrraving the affection" ... .... cheering and singing along ... "the natural progression ... is the coming of your age ..but they cover it with shame ..a nd turn it into rage" ... it was kinda of fading a bit ... "..... to satisfy the hunger .. to satiate the need .. humble keep you low ... myth .. made up A 1000 YEARS AGO" I could hear that so clear ... the crowd is just cheering and clapping so loud it's good energy flowing about ..."Life is full of wonder .... the crowd SCREAMS along with Melissa " LOVE IS NEVER WRONG" ... it was loud but I heard SS or someone close to hear sing "THE LEGACY STOPS HERE" ... wohoooooo ..... I hear SCARECROW ... I can pick up bits and pieces of the beginning ... "of narrow minds who legislate ...
thinly veiled intolerance ... bigotry and hate" ... powerful lyrics there ... just makes me wanna rumble inside ... scarecrow crying ... .... CoolShocked... but they're knocking on our front doors ... they're rocking in our cradles ... ... Cool... eating at our tables" ... the crowd was mello and singing along just lovely ... then into ... TUESDAY MORNING THEY GO ... I was singing "up and down this road I go ... skippin' and dodgin'
from a 44" ... Paranoideverytime I hear that beginning I think of my friend G ... WORD ... "on flight 93" ... I heard singing along with this song ... seemed spot on really ... "this is NOT the truth" ... "wake up AMERICA" ... okay this next part chills me like crazy everytime ... the whole crowd says "LET's ROLL" right along with Melissa ... it to me is like a mass moment of silence(that's not silent at all) for those lost, but with a E Energy effect ... again like the core of the earth ... that's deep ... Cool.... so the crowd was riled up about the same as CG in her chuckies on a railing ... that's riled. .. ... so SS who is I might add a very nice play by play ... I get lost in her happiness when she chats at the show ... she's charged up like the bunny with the drum ... she says: " ... piano song ... Melissa just told is to talk amongst yourselves ... she forgot the words" Melissa was talking and everyone was laughing ... of course ... I couldn't hear Melissa all that much or even that clear but what I did hear her say was " REALLY HAPPY" ... "I wrote this song .... .... Confused... if I had that love ...." people were clapping and really cheering so I was sure they were talking about Tamamamama then I heard Melissa say: "and guess what I have it" ... I think I was totally right about what she was chatting about ... ...I heard SS say:" I might cry" ... Sad... don't so that ... so back to the PIANO SONG which wasn't piano at all ... it's SLEEP and it's acoustic Paranoid... ahhh ... now I think I might cry ... I just wanna go smell Meredith's neck when I hear this song ... I love it so much ... "after your laughter like thunder .. after your skin like coffee and cream ... after it takes our bodies into the night ... after we've come to the extreme" .... ... I want to lay down on your shoulder .. just inside your arm .. I want to listen to your heart beat .. and your breathing on and on ... I want to lay down on your shoulder ... surrender to your peace .. and go to sleep" ... ahhhhhh ... so we all know that is a lovely song ... that song was so great and the crowd was loving it ... I hear SS say: " something ... where they sit on the stage ..." Melissa says: Woooo Hoooooo ..... so the crowd is clapping or it's an alien in the phone chanting KEL KEL KEL KEL KEL KEL KEL KEL ShockedConfused... but it's prolly clapping ...I heard Fritz pounding on that box with his fancy anklet ... I hear: " I'VE GOT A CHROME PLATED HEART" ... oh yea I LOVE THIS SONG ... I mean LOVE IT ... ParanoidOk I LOVE IT ... she's just rocking ... I'm singing along and SS is singing along and she says: "OH MY GOSH SHE'S DOING SOMETHING" ... I laughed so hard she was hilarous when she said that ... like staring at the coolest thing in the planet but trying to speak at the same time ... LOL ... "love is real as the day is long and the night is black ... black as night" I heard you singing clearly SS ... ... very nice ... crowd got really loud and the phone was fading in and out ... i mean that band was jammin up there for sure ... I hear "GO PHILIP" ... I started turning my attention to my mind when Melissa was on the Live and Alone DVD and doing this song ... I mean her stomping on the stage and dancing with the stomp ... that shit is just not going to be seen by anyone else and be thought about just by the tune of the guitar ... no one like Melissa ... that's it heavy ... ... I love it ... I hear "FRITZ" ok the crowd has done gone to the lost in E world at this point and I know something is going down that is so cool ... to me it sounds like FRITZ banging on the strings of guitars .. and it SOUNDS AWESOME ... totally cool as it gets right there ...SS was screaming like a Hyannis FIRE ENGINE ... sisters got some lungs ... she says: "that was awesome ...something something ... remind me" ... Paranoid... HEY SS YOU WERE GOING TO TELL ME SOMETHING .. I'm just reminding you Wink! ... ... Melissa is talking.. its hard to hear what she's saying but I did hear her GIGGLE that giggle that she does on one of ANGIE's awesome vids when Philip starts playing her guitar really fast with his pinky ... Wink... oh and again the giggle from the Bitey and Rhonda show ... Cool... "angels are calling ... silently stay" I heard SS sing lovely along with Melissa "THIS IS NOT GOODBYE" ... but apparently it was cuz our call was lost.

THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR CALLING ME SS AND D.... that was fun. Wink

So I wrote my review of what I saw on the other thread and I am gonna cut and paste it cus it belongs over here. Kel, that part I was gonna remind you about was indeed Fritz playing drums on all the acoustic guitars.

BTW…I love Chrome Plated Heart and I did see her play in Live and Alone and that is one of my most fondest MLE concert memories. Holy crap that was hot and I will never forget it.

Daed and I were calling you and CG and FA and IzKelly. I am sorry we didn't get more. I'd say next time but that's it for us...until her next tour that is.

Review by Selectivesins226           Hyannis 8/3/06

Hi CG, Kel, FA, IzKelly and everyone else. I am so glad I could spread the MLE joy. It was my pleasure.

I figured I would share a few tidbits of what we saw being you all know what we heard.

Melissa was wearing a tee shirt and linen pants. She said it was a first for her but it was too damn hot to wear anything else and if anyone wanted their money back to let her know. Ha that would never happen.

Mark was wearing a sleeveless black t-shirt with a peace sign, heart, and MLE logo on the back. Peace, Love, MLE. Oh yeah! Fritz was wearing shorts and a funky green shirt. Phillip was wearing a black t and jeans. Holy shit he has pipes.

The Melody tent is just that. It’s a tent with a circular stage which rotates. There was no fancy set. It was Melissa and the guys jamming for us. We were in the 6th row which was very different than in Lowell . Our seats were wicked close to the stage there was no need to rush it...we were there.

Melissa couldn't bring a piano on stage so she did her solo song from Breakdown, with just her and her guitar. She joked that she needed her lyrics book. She played “How Would I Know”. (I almost cried)

Another memorable moment was when they did the unplugged version of Chrome Plated Heart. They all sat on the stage, Fritz on the little box with the single drum (I am guessing snare but not sure) and the boys on acoustic guitars. OMG it was soooo freaking awesome. Fritz was doing a drum solo and then Mel slid her guitar in to him to use to drum on, then Phillip slid in and then Mark did the same. It was intense. I am sure they beat the crap outta those guitars but it was amazing. (flashing back...woot woot)

If you Want To” was great and funny too. Melissa grabbed a phone from Cindy in the audience and it was Sandy on the other end ... Sandy was from Georgia ... the phone call wait clicked and Melissa answered it. It was Darryl, Cindy's boyfriend, Melissa pointed to Cindy's concert buddy and said well who's that and the crowd roared.

Towards the end of the show I was getting tired of holding my phone and I wanted to clap rather than slapping my arm. I was wearing a tank top and decided to stick the phone in my bra. It was pretty funny because after reading what CG wrote the sound quality got better. I guess boobs are good for more than one of two things. That's right Tig, boobies!!!

I was very glad to share the show with all of you and I was really surprised there were no Zonies there. Maybe next time. I missed that part like we had in Lowell .

We didn't spot Tammy anywhere. I am sure it was too hot for her out there. I hope she is well. Mel turned her guitar around and said her wife kinda looked like that these days. LOL.
